1 Sol Swimwear- Review
Recently I had the wonderful opportunity to review swimwear from 1 Sol. The above picture is the one that I ended up choosing, same color too. I recently started wearing pinks and purples and found that they look nice with my skin tone. When my package first arrived I opened the box it came in to find that it was nicely packaged in a black box. In the black box my swimsuit was nicely wrapped in tissue. I have never owned a swimwear that cost very much so I was highly impressed that they not only make a great swimsuit but they take that extra time to make sure it’s packaged nice.
The first thing I noticed when I picked up my swimsuit was how heavy it was. I don’t mean that in a bad way but that the material the suit is made from is a nice thick material that should hold up for many years to come. The next thing I noticed was these reinforced areas on the side of the bust. Since the strap is more of a decoration than to help hold the suit up this helps the suit top stay up and in place around the bust. There is a nice tummy control area and I love the fact that the fabric scrunches adding an extra level of tummy minimizing. I have always been bigger chested and have had a hard time finding suits that will fit. If I find them that fit in the top they are huge in the bottom or everywhere else. I ended up going with an XL and if this tells you anything I can sometimes squeeze into a DDD bra. Super excited that I can actually wear it. Now granted this suit would look great if my chest was a little smaller but I’m glad that it actually fits. I feel comfortable wearing this to the pool and don’t have to worry about having an “oops” moment when getting out. Yes, I have had oops moments where I go to get out of the pool and because I have to buy the top bigger to fit my chest the top sometimes decides that it likes the water better and wants to stay in it when I want to get out.
I can honestly say that you get what you pay for when it comes to something like this. I could never imagine owning something like this (since I feel guilty buying clothes for me since the kids usually need something), but happy that I had an opportunity to review this swimsuit. I now can see what everyone was talking about when they buy a swimsuit that is over $100. Not only do you get a great suit but it also makes you feel great while wearing it. The last great thing I like about these swimsuits is that you know when your wearing it, you will have a suit that not everyone will have. You can’t just buy this at your local all-in-one store making this in my opinion even better. Don’t get me wrong, I like my all-in-one stores but when it comes to something like this I want to feel great in it and know that not everyone has it. Oh yeah, I almost forgot…. These suits are made in the USA.
