What is art-deco lighting? The art-deco lighting came into the market in the early twentieth century and became popular after some years. Basically these lamps were famous for their architectural designs and geometric and angular shapes. Also the material used in it, the chrome, was novel at that time. But even today, this art-deco lighting is one of the most attractive pieces of lamps available in the market. The use of glass was peculiar too. They used sandblasted, etched, and enameled glass to make the lights more serene!
Updating a dingy, small bathroom space by using strategically placed wall or ceiling lighting is a simple and cost effective way to brighten not only the bathroom but the way you feel. Imagine bathing in tranquility, away from the harsh lighting of the office or kitchen. Versatile track lighting systems and chrome or bronze ceiling lights will illuminate or dim with a light touch to exactly the amount of intensity you would like and at the same time create the illusion of dramatic space.
Pendant style lampshades are almost as old as lighting itself with the earliest version being the bare naked light bulb hanging from a fabric cord from a ceiling. This style of pendant lighting is known as the Burnside.
